Design
The new Mitsubishi Pajero is going to be sold in two different kinds of versions: two kinds of body work (three-doors and five seats and five-doors and seven seats wagon) two engines, three different liveries (Invite, Intense, Instyle), and three interiors. The new entry-level version is going to be the 3-door diesel 3.2-litre Euro 4 Invite. The New Pajero features a high and flat windshield (it is 5,3 mm thick), with a classical front shape, and the fifth wheel at the exterior. Noise and vibrations are reduced. Beyond the thicker windscreen, even the interior's covering was improved, to make the cab more comfortable. In this way, noise caused by the engine decreased 15% . In addition, we find the new audio Rockford Acoustic Design system, line 7: specifically designed for the Pajero by the Rockford Corporation. Moreover, AM/FM tuner, 6-record CD charger, MD player which supports MP3 devices. For the first time inside an original Mitsubishi model, there is also a home theater 5.1 system, which supports Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround technology. The modern system offers the driver the possibility of a global surround sound effect. The new Pajero interior was also re-designed with an elegant bridge and instrument panel.
Safety
Pajero does not follow typical SUVs: rather it challenges them, thanks to its standard Ebac Engine Brakes Assist Control. Mitsubishi prefer an agile Pajero capable of carrying off among bumps, breathless slopes, deeps and overhanging rocks. The new Pajero also features the rear differential lock as well as post, side and curtain airbags.
